Well, I was invited to describe my issues with how AO3 handles translation during some AO3 celebration when the chat room was open, and sent an email to International Outreach and put in a volunteer app. I translate from Russian (dubiously) and upload translations of my work into Russian... it's about half my AO3 activity. There Are Issues.

I poked people about the volunteer app a couple times, but it never came to anything. I was invited to a chat about the topic, where I was encouraged to volunteer again. So I put a second volunteer app in, mentioning I'd be willing to help with coding or international, which I have yet to hear anything back about. It's been more than six months since the whole process started.
